Description of Services:
Functions as a decision maker for legal, personal, and financial affairs of individuals who are incapable of doing so on their own and do not have anyone else who is authorized to manage their affairs
makes financial decisions and conducts transactions, such as receiving and depositing income, filling tax returns and paying bills
investigates allegations of abuse for both a financial or personal care nature, and may remove an individual from a situation of harm
makes decisions when medical treatment is proposed or admission to a long term care home is proposed
arranges for legal representation in capacity proceedings
