Organization: Timiskaming Home Support - North Region
Description of Services: Local accessible transit non-emergency door to door wheelchair accessible transportation to medical appointments, shopping, church, school or other destinations
  • reservations in advance are required
  • there is a small fee for each ride taken and billed on a monthly basis
  • last minute cancellations will be billed
  • escorts and companions may be required during the trip and can ride at no cost

Transportation for out of town medical appointments - Non-emergency transportation to out of town areas within Timmins, Sudbury and North Bay for medical appointments
  • rides are to be booked through the office 2 weeks prior to appointment date
  • escorts are permitted if the client requires personal care or aide to ride at no extra cost

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Adults 60 years and older who are mobile * visually impaired and hearing impaired and mobile
Application: Applications can be picked up at the office or one can be mailed out to the client's home * complete the online referral form
