Program: Opioid Use Disorder Program

Organization: Espanola and Area Family Health Team
Description of Services: Support program for people who are experiencing problems related to opioids. Program offers medication assisted treatments to treat opioid use disorder. A harm reduction approach is taken, where abstinence (i.e. complete avoidance of substance use) is not required. Medication assisted treatments include: methadone maintenance treatment (MMT), buprenorphine maintenance treatment (BMT), and Kadian (slow release oral morphine).

Program team includes counsellors, psychiatrist and addiction medicine specialists.

All services are covered by OHIP.

Application: Self-referrals are accepted. No appointment or referral is necessary for a new assessment. New assessments are at any time during all clinic hours. Please call for information.
