Description of Services: Withdrawal Management Service (WMS) is a voluntary program providing care to individuals who are under the influence of or are in acute withdrawals of a substance.

WMS is a co-ed, short-stay facility (approx. 3-5 days) where staff monitors and assists individuals through their withdrawal process.

Services we offer:

  • 24/7 supportive care through the withdrawal process
  • assessments to those seeking treatment for their substance use
  • referrals to community agencies
  • information on substance use, services and supports available.
  • psycho-educational programming and supports
  • information on self-help groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous, and Narcotics Anonymous

  • Application: Referrals accepted from: self, family/friends, health care organizations, police, clergy, employers, any other concerned person. Admissions based on bed availability. Must be conscious, ambulatory, and medically stable.
