Organization: Aging at Home - Hearst

Description of Services: Support for older adults, and adults with disabilities * helps people remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible * referral to other community services

Senior's Day at the Grocery - Every Tue from 9am-4pm, volunteers offer assistance and presence to customers while they are shopping, and in collaboration with the Red Cross, a volunteer driver accompanies the person home free of charge in addition to delivering their purchases inside the home.

Mobile Library - At-home loan service of books * books exchanged every 2 months

Coffee Connections - Offered 1 Wed per month from 10am-11:30am * information session with guest speaker

Caregiver’s Support - in collaboration with Collège Boréal's involvement have developed a free training workshop.

Case Management - an employee evaluates the needs, to plan, coordinate, negotiate, monitor and represent the rights of their client to obtain diversified services to meet their needs.

Falls Prevention - continuous exercise possibilities within the community
