  • Provides information on preventative dental health practices
  • Conducts yearly surveys of school children's dental requirements to enhance existing programs and to determine gaps
  • Offers a dental screening program in schools
  • Provides assistance in finding a dentist, filling out forms etc, for individuals who qualify for free dental services
  • Offers the following programs that may qualify people for free dental services:
    • Children's Oral Health Initiative (COHI)
    • Green Door Project
    • Healthy Smiles Ontario (HSO)
    • Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program (OSDCP)

    • finding a dentist
    • filling out forms/applications

    • Children's Oral Health Initiative (COHI): First Nations children aged 0-7 years old and their parents/caregivers

    • Green Door Project: Emergency dental services for people aged 18-64 years of age who have no other form of dental coverage

    • Healthy Smiles Ontario (HSO): Children 0-17 years of age

    • Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program (OSDCP): Low-income seniors 65 years of age and older
