Education and consultation to service providers offering palliative care * sessions includes basic and advance palliative-care training * consultation regarding pain and symptom management

Education - Supports standardized palliative care education, including:
  • fundamentals of Hospice Palliative Care
  • Advanced Hospice Palliative Care Education (AHPCE)
  • Comprehensive Advanced Palliative Care Education (CAPCE)

The PPSMC program offers education, training, and consultation services to organizations and healthcare professionals providing end-of-life care. The goal of the program is to improve access to quality palliative care through spreading of Best Practices, mentorship of healthcare professionals and contributing to system-level planning.
